The white cottage at Buachaille Etive Mor had been calling them, so Sam and Tanner went with their romantic, gut feeling. They decided that their original plan of a big wedding didn't feel right anymore - and in just a matter of weeks, the elopement was planned. They made a quick trip from the midwestern USA, and eloped in the beautiful Scottish Highlands instead.
The day was wet from the beginning, and just like magic, the sky cleared right in time for their ceremony. Sam and Tanner exchanged heartfelt vows on the stony riverbeds, with only each other. Afterwards, they spent the afternoon exploring Glencoe in the rain with their amazing photographer.
Sam and Tanner's special day in Glencoe was a stunning example of how atmospheric, romantic, and enchanting a Scottish elopement can be. They are truly an inspiring couple, and they've brought a whole new meaning to dancing in the rain.
Meet the amazing team that helped create this dream elopement!
